Testosterone cypionate is a steroid indicated for the testosterone replacement therapy in males with low levels of the naturally produced testosterone in the body. The conditions when testosterone cypionate is prescribed are primary hypogonadism and hypogonadotropic hypogonadism. Testosterone cypionate is part of the endogenous androgens class of drugs. It comes in form of injectable solution and it replaces the natural produced hormone with the artificial one. ·It has been shown that it does not enhance athletic performance and it is not a preferable drug for athletes due to its potential risk of severe side effects.

·Oligospermia is a potential adverse reaction that may occur after a prolonged use of testosterone cypionate. If it occurs, discontinue with the drug until the symptoms improve. If you restart the therapy with this drug, take a lower dose than usual.

·Increased or decreased libido.

Overdose with testosterone cypionate

There have been no reports of cases with acute overdose with testosterone cypionate. Even if the possibility of developing androgen related-side effects is high, increased doses with testosterone cypionate do not produce serious adverse reactions. The most common side effects if using an increased dose of the drug are nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain, stomach upset and others. How should I store testosterone cypionate?

It is indicated to store the vials at the room temperature between 20 to 25 degrees Celsius or 68 to 77 Fahrenheit. Keep it away from direct sunlight exposure and out of the reach of children.
