Steroids Post Cycle Therapy
The post steroid cycle therapy represents the phase when the anabolic steroid cycle is discontinued and there is the need to supplement the body with testosterone levels and get back to normal. During steroid cycles, the testosterone levels are altered and if not taking proper measures of precaution, the estrogen and progesterone levels can increase beyond a healthy range. However, the main concern during the post cycle therapy is not the increased estrogen and progesterone levels as these may be controlled with non-aromatizing agents during the steroid cycle; but the suppression of the endogenous testosterone level. When the steroid is discontinued, it is important to get back to normal hormone levels, this is why it is recommended to stimulate the natural production of the hormone and let the body normalize.
