DRUG DESCRIPTION

Transparent oily solution, from yellow to light yellow color, with characteristic smell. Testodex Propionate 100 is produced by Sciroxx. Its active ingredient is Testosterone Propionate.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

It is a short acting steroid, which means that it needs to be administered every day. From the testosterone replacement therapy agents, it causes the least side effects and even if adverse reactions occur, they subside quickly when use is ceased. It is considered a very efficient steroid and the only difference between testosterone cypionate and enanthate is the duration of action. Unlike testosterone cypionate, testosterone propionate injections are not painful; however, if used for a prolonged period of time, there might occur pain at the site of the injection.

THERAPEUTICAL INDICATIONS

Testosterone propionate is a steroid indicated for the testosterone replacement therapy in males with symptoms of deficiency of the naturally produced hormone.

DOSES AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION

Testodex Propionate 100 comes in form of injectable solution. It is considered that the higher the dose, the stronger the anabolic/androgenic effects. The usual dose of testosterone propionate is 600 mg per week. At the highest dose, the greater are the results. A normal cycle of testosterone propionate is 12 to 16 weeks and it has been demonstrated that even a cycle of 20 weeks is safe and provides great results.

SIDE EFFECTS

Testodex Propionate may cause side effects that usually depend on the dose, duration of action in the body and other aspects. In such cases, it is indicated to reduce the doses and time interval between them, or combine the drug with aromatase inhibitors such as Arimidex or Letrodex that would decrease the risk of developing estrogen related side effects.

The most common side effects are the following:

• Aggressive and dominant behavior;
• Frequent and persistent erections;
• Headache;
• Acne;
• Hypertension;
• Water retention;

INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER DRUGS

Most often, the steroids that stack well with testosterone propionate are the following: Trenadex Acetate, Mastodex Propionate, Stanodex, Nandrodex and others. One important thing to remember is that since propionate is a short acting ester it needs to be stacked with other short estered drugs. Usually, people stack testosterone propionate with other steroids just for obtaining good results in a short period of time.
